I’ve spent my career asking one simple question. How could this be better?
That question has guided every decision I’ve made. It challenged me to think differently, work harder, and never settle for “good enough.” Eventually, it became the foundation of Addendum.
I didn’t take the traditional path after high school. I knew I wanted to build something with my hands and create a life I could be proud of. Beauty school became the beginning of that journey, although I certainly wasn’t the perfect student. Looking back, I don’t think I struggled because I lacked ambition. I’ve simply always questioned the way things are done. I’ve never believed a system exists simply because it’s the best one. I believe there’s always room to improve. You just have to be willing to look for it.
When I finally began working behind the chair, something changed. For the first time, I understood what it meant to truly own my future. I worked late, took every opportunity I could, and never turned down a challenge. If I didn’t know how to do something, I learned. If there was a better technique, I found it.
Excellence stopped being something I hoped to achieve someday. It became a daily habit.

Like many women, I’ve always had fine hair. I saved every dollar I could to invest in hair extensions, convinced they would finally give me the confidence I’d been searching for. Instead, I left with a heartbreaking experience. My hair was poorly installed, the service lacked care, and I walked away feeling unheard. I had spent everything I had on something that was supposed to make me feel beautiful, only to lose trust in the process.
That experience changed everything. It taught me something no class or certification ever could.

Women don’t come in looking for more hair. They come in looking for confidence.

From that day forward, I immersed myself in learning everything I could about hair extensions. I invested in every education available, became certified across nearly every major extension method, and spent years understanding not just how to install hair, but why certain methods worked, why others failed, and how every decision affected the health of the natural hair underneath.
Over time, I became an educator for some of the industry’s leading extension brands. I loved teaching, but every day behind the chair I found myself solving problems the industry hadn’t solved yet. I saw opportunities to improve products, systems, and the client experience. I kept asking the same question. How could this be better?
Eventually, I realized the fastest way to create meaningful change wasn’t to wait for someone else to build it. It was to build it myself.
That’s how Addendum Hair was born. Not because the world needed another extension company. Because I believed the industry deserved better.
As both a stylist and an extension wearer, I understood the experience from every perspective. Clients were purchasing more hair than they needed. Stylists were limited by rigid systems instead of being empowered to customize. Luxury had become associated with excess instead of intention. I wanted to change that.
I’ve never been interested in creating products for the sake of creating products. I’ve always been interested in creating better solutions. That philosophy still guides every decision we make today. Every innovation begins with one question: What’s the best solution for the client?
Whether it’s selling hair by the individual weft instead of unnecessary bundles, creating more seamless color customization, or developing products that make installations healthier and more efficient, every decision begins with solving a real problem.

For many women, including myself, it’s deeply connected to confidence and identity. When a woman feels beautiful in her hair, she walks into the world differently. She stands a little taller. She speaks with more confidence. She shows up more fully as herself.
That’s why I’ve never believed consultations should begin with recommendations. They should begin with listening. Every woman arrives with a different story, different concerns, and different goals. My job isn’t to prescribe the same solution to everyone. It’s to ask enough questions that I truly understand her before I ever offer a solution.
Whether that’s fine hair, hair loss, damage, or helping someone feel like herself again, my responsibility is always the same: listen first, then create the right solution.
Clients often sit in my chair and simply say, “I trust you.” I’ll never stop being grateful for those words. Because trust isn’t given. It’s earned.
I’ve come to realize that trust is the true foundation of Addendum. It shapes the products we create, the education we provide, the stylists we mentor, and every experience inside our salon. Excellence has never been about perfection. It’s about caring enough to keep improving.
I still work behind the chair today, not because I have to, but because it’s where I learn the most. My clients continue to challenge me, inspire me, and remind me why we build everything we do. Every conversation shapes our products, our education, and the future of Addendum.
I often say I’m not in the business of adding hair. I’m in the business of solving problems. Hair just happens to be my medium.

People often ask where the name Addendum came from.
An addendum is an addition to something that already exists.
That’s exactly how I believe beauty should feel. We’re not here to change who you are. We’re here to enhance what already makes you beautiful.

Hair is never static. It’s an evolution.
Over time, our hair changes. Our lifestyle changes. Our priorities change. What worked five years ago may not be the right solution today.
That’s why I’ve never believed in rigid formulas or approaching every client the same way. My responsibility as a stylist is to continue learning, evolving, and finding better solutions. The beauty industry is constantly changing, and I believe our education should evolve with it.
To me, beautiful hair has never been about chasing trends. It’s about creating hair that feels effortless, healthy, and authentic to the person wearing it. Color should enhance, not compete. It should be timeless, dimensional, and designed to grow out beautifully.
Extensions are one of the most transformative tools we have, not because everyone needs more hair, but because they solve real challenges. They can restore density, create fullness, enhance color, and give clients options they may not have thought were possible. Sometimes the smallest change creates the biggest impact.
The client experience is just as important as the result. Before I ever recommend a service, I take the time to understand the person sitting in front of me: their goals, their lifestyle, their concerns, and how they want to feel. The right plan always starts with listening.
At the end of the day, I don’t believe great hairstylists simply perform services. I believe they solve problems. The goal has never been to do more. It’s to do what’s right.
Outside of the salon, those same values continue to guide my life. I came to the United States when I was four years old and was raised by a single mother whose work ethic shaped everything I believe today. She taught me that no one owes you success. If something matters to you, you show up. You work hard. You take pride in doing it well.
Everything I’ve created, from my career to Addendum, has been built one decision at a time.
If there’s one thing I hope people remember about me, it isn’t the salon or the products. I hope they remember that excellence is a choice. That trust is earned. That curiosity is one of our greatest strengths. And that good enough never has to be good enough.
Because that’s never been who I am. And it will never be who we are.

Complete hair transformations.
Lisa personally accepts a limited number of new clients for complete hair transformations. Every appointment begins with a consultation and is designed as a fully customized experience.
Depending on each client’s goals, services may include extensions, custom color, and precision cutting, all performed by Lisa to ensure every element works together seamlessly.
Lisa offers every major extension method, including hand-tied wefts, K-Tips, tape-ins, and customized hybrid transformations. She doesn’t believe one method is better than another. She believes the best results come from choosing the right solution for each client’s hair, lifestyle, long-term goals, and hair health.
She does not accept appointments for color or haircut services alone. She believes the most beautiful transformations happen when color, cutting, and extensions are designed together, not as separate services, but as one cohesive vision.
Lisa is especially passionate about helping clients who have struggled to find the right solution elsewhere. Whether you’ve experienced discomfort, damage, poor installations, poor blending, breakage, or simply feel like your extensions have never looked or felt the way they should, she welcomes the opportunity to problem-solve and create a completely different experience.
Some of her favorite transformations begin with the words, “I’ve never been happy with my extensions.”
One of Lisa’s greatest specialties is cutting extension hair. Traditional haircutting often removes the very weight, movement, and structure that extensions are meant to create. Her cutting technique is designed specifically for extension transformations, preserving the integrity of the installation while creating seamless movement, effortless layers, and a finish that looks as though the hair grew that way naturally.
Because Lisa performs every aspect of the transformation herself, from consultation and color to extensions and the final cut, every detail works together. Nothing feels disconnected, and nothing is left to chance.
Lisa intentionally maintains a small clientele and values long-term relationships with clients who see their hair as an ongoing investment. Her schedule is reserved for guests who appreciate consistency, trust, and a highly personalized experience.
