Lisa Ha has spent over two decades in the hair industry, with the last fifteen years focused almost entirely on extensions. That focus began with her own personal journey. With naturally fine hair and a sensitive scalp, Lisa experienced firsthand what happens when extensions are done without enough care, understanding, or precision. At the time, very few people were doing them well, especially for clients who needed a gentler approach. Those experiences changed the direction of her career.
Instead of accepting what was available, Lisa began to study every method she could get her hands on. She learned the systems, tested them behind the chair, and then reworked them through the lens of her own needs and her clients’ comfort. If something did not feel gentle enough, she redesigned it. If something risked the integrity of the hair, she refined it. Over time, she developed an approach that prioritizes scalp comfort, hair health, and results that truly last.
Along the way, Lisa mastered the art of cutting and blending extensions, treating it as its own discipline rather than an afterthought. She is also deeply skilled in color, which allows her to create results that feel seamless, natural, and fully customized. More than any single technique, her greatest strength has always been her ability to listen. To understand the problem, translate it into a clear plan, and execute it with intention.
She still loves being behind the chair, especially when it comes to transformations. Her favorite clients are often the ones who have had bad experiences in the past or who have never quite felt like they were being heard. The more challenging the case, the more she enjoys the process. It is where she gets to bring together everything she has learned over the last two decades and use it to create something that finally feels right for the person in the chair.
At the core of Lisa’s work is the same belief that started it all. Hair should be beautiful, but it should also be comfortable, wearable, and healthy. And there is nothing more rewarding to her than hearing a client say, “You really listened. You understood. And you got it right.”
Lisa is also deeply proud of the salon she has built and the team behind it. She has created a space where care and character come first, where craft and education matter, and where the culture is rooted in doing what is truly best for the client. That environment is not accidental. It reflects the same standards she holds for her own work and the same values she brings to every part of the business.
While building her reputation as a master extension artist, Lisa worked closely with major hair brands who brought her in to help design and refine products. Being both behind the chair and involved in product development gave her a clear perspective on what was missing in the industry. That gap is what led her to create Addendum Hair.
Every product under the Addendum name is built with intention, care, and real world use in mind. The goal is simple. Give stylists better tools and better hair so they can take better care of their clients. Nothing is generic. Nothing is rushed. Each piece is designed to solve a real problem and to support the long term integrity of the hair.
